Birthday Haul

Good afternoon, everybody!

I'm a little late with this post seen as though my birthday was over one month ago (1st September for anyone taking note). However, as hauls continue to be one of the most popular types of post on my blog, I wanted to share with you some beauties that were either given to me as a present, or bought with my birthday money, in the last few weeks.

The dress I actually wore on my birthday was given to me by my boyfriend. He remembered me cooing over it in Ark's window display when we walked past the shop recently (you know how we fashionistas like to coo)!

Neon Aztec Print Dress - Ark - £22.00

Then I bought the following with my birthday money.

Bowler hats seem to be having another hey-day, therefore I couldn't resist picking this bargain up for only £7.99!

Bowler Hat - H&M - £7.99

I also wanted some new bling.

Gold Knuckle Ring - Primark - £1.50
Gold and Silver Set of 3 Rings - Primark - £3.00
Gold Hoop Earrings - H&M - £3.99

I already have several pairs of these adorable frilled socks in summery colours, so I thought I'd best invest in a couple of pairs in wintry shades for the A/W season. At £1.50 from Primark, they're as cheap as chips!

Navy and Berry Frilled Socks (1 Pair Per Pack) - Primark - £1.50 each

You may have already seen this monochrome, striped, baseball-style tee featured in a recent blog post. I still can't believe it was only £6.00 and it's so versatile; it looks great dressed up or down.

Baseball Tee - Primark - £6.00
Long Sleeved Tartan Crop Top - Primark - £5.00
Sequinned Shorts - ZARA Sale - £9.99

I then used some money given to me by one of my best friends, on this gorgeous little number. I'm not usually a massive cats fan but this dress is so adorable - I couldn't help but fall in love with it when I saw it!

Pussycat Print Dress - H&M - £14.99

I've worn it since I bought it and I've received so many compliments - even from complete strangers! Pick yours up now to avoid disappointment.

Finally, my boyfriend's parents gave me £50.00 on a Topshop gift card (they know me so well now) which I spent on the following.

I love how loud this jumper is - it makes such a statement! Leopard print is very much 'in', once again, for the A/W season.

I had to have the horse necklace, as well, because horses are my favourite animals. I was an avid horse rider when I was a child and I've always said that I will get back into it one day! It's a dream of mine to one day have a horse of my own.

Leopard Print Jumper - £32.00
Horse Statement Necklace - £16.50

Since I bought these Topshop lovelies, I've worn them with a crisp white shirt and jeans.

They're so great - in fact, all of the items featured in this post are!

Thank you so much to my amazing friends of family for their kind gifts and a wonderful 23rd birthday.

(What's your favourite item from this haul? Which shops have you been buying from recently? Thanks for reading! Katie-xo)
